Au Pair's Message to Families
Dear host family,
My name is Watcharaporn and you can call me Joy. I was born in Lampang, quiet city in the north of Thailand. But now I live in Chiangmai (about 2 hours far from Lampang). I moved here since I passed the entrance examimation to study at Chiangmai University (8 years ago). I studied in faculty of humanities and information studies is my major subject. I love university life!!! Freedom, friends, fun, it’s very good time.
I love to read a book in my free time; cooking books, novels, comics and other interesting books. I like to walk around, slow down walking. Because I can be impressive with a small thing that I never notice in my usually work day. Now I've just finished my florist class and started fruit&vetgetable curving class(thai style). I really enjoy it.
When I took care children at the nursery, I stayed with them all long day. I fed lunch, took them to napping and changed their clothes and diapers. And we had many activity together; painting, crafting, coloring, reading stories, singing and etc.
I used to help my boss take care her nieces, Prae and Pleng, after finished their home work they liked to play badminton. I think playing sport is very good for children, because they can learn and accept rule of the game that make them improve themse in both physical and emotional.
Child care giver is not easy work. Sometime the kids are not such of angel but they are pure, real and no artifice. If we enjoy to be with them we will know how to handle them and then all …it’s fun.
