Dear families!
If you're an open-minded, nice, polite and fun-loving family, who isn't too serious and likes to laugh, I would like to become your next aupair! I'm just searching for a nice household with a great atmosphere. I'm looking for a summer-aupairjob next summer (June/July 2009) I've already worked as an aupair for 3 months in the US. The kids were 1, 4 and 6 years old that time. Beside looking after the children, I'm willing to do light housework. Unfortunately I have to admit that I'm not a great cooker. I don't have any problems with animals! I love dogs and cats and had myself many pets in the past. If I was able to catch your attention or you would like to have more information, just ask...
My name is Lea and I'm 21 years old. I'm from Ibbenbüren, a small town of about 50 000 citizens in the west of Germany near Osnabrück and Münster. I'm attending the University of Twente, in Enschede, the Netherlands, where I also live, and study Communicationscience in dutch. In my freetime I like being outside, doing sports (handball), to spend time with my friends, to go to the cinema, to travel, to read, to eat or just to relax etc. I speak german (of course), english, dutch, spanish and french. But I think my french has to be refreshed :) I think I'm an open-minded, out-going, self-confident, responsible, humorous, honest and funny young woman. I've already participated in student-exchanges with France and Poland. Furthermore I have a driver licence since 2005 and I'm a non-smoker.
I want to get to know a family, who I love as I do my own and where I feel home. ... a family who wants me to become a family-member and who likes to spend even some of their freetime with me to show me their country/culture. By the way I think being aupair is a great opportunity to discover foreign countries, its people and culture. I want to become even more independent and mature. My dream has ever been to see different places, to discover other parts of the world and to gain new experiences. Furthermore I believe such a time abroad can form bonds that last maybe for a lifetime.
