Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Host Family. (I'm with agency AupairCare)

First let me introduce myself. My name is And I am 23 years old. My nick name is May I was born in Bangkok City. And been living here since I was born. I have 1 older brother. He is electrician, my mother is a cook she's working at thai resturant and my father he is a security guard at . We always spend a lot of our spare time together such as going on trips we've been to Chiangmai, Ayuttaya and Cambudia together and doing other leisure activities. We also have a dog name is 'Ducky' who is a part of the family and very friendly to all of us. I regularly help my mother to cook and do housework. I really love helping my mother cooking and go to supermarket with her every holiday. I finished vocational certificate from Thai Business Administration College in 2004 and the field of my study was Computer Commerce. For my college life I have met many friends they came from different provinces and different religions. We all got along well and had done many activities at the college together such as computer project, camping. In last trimester, I was a trainee student for 3 months at Government Saving Bank in position administrator. My duties was doing paper work for new customer who open an new account.

For my children experiences I started assisting my neighbor to take care of their new born son whose name is "Kaln" My duties were changing diaper, bathing, cleaning clothes, cleaning milk bottles, bottle feeding, and burping. It was a good experience for me to learn how to take care of the infant from them. They are so kind neighbor and always willing to teach me with all the childcare skills. After that, I started a new childcare training course at Kluaynamthai Daycare Nursery to train about first - aid such as how to help unconscious people (infant and adult), how to creat the toys and crafts for the children, and join or creat some activities for them and then, I have started the other childcare training course at Wanjai Kindergarten School, Wanjai Kindergarten Schook is the place for the children the ages between 1 to 6 years old. My duties were teachiing them orderliness, teaching how to sing a song or speech, preparing the lunch, making bottles and cups of milk, putting them to bed, and joining and creating many activities to play with children.

For my characteristics, I am mature, very easy going, enthusiastic and responsible. Besides, I love to get new experience cuz I have only 1 life, learn things from the mistake and make it better. In my free time, I love to read magazine, exercise, listen to the music, watch daily news on TV, hang out with friends. I also can skateboarding and can drive automatic car

I have decided to be an aupair in USA because I am sure about myself and qualification to be a good aupair. I'd like to learn about American Culture, get new experience from living in USA. I hope it can help me to imporve my english skills, and my career. I want to be a staff in big foreigne company in Bangkok when I finished this program. Aupair Program is very good program for me. Cuz I love children and enjoy to be with them.
