Nanny's Message to Families
Dear Family,
My name is Leeann, I am 25 years old .I am orginally from Barbados, but now I live with my family in Connecticut. I am experience in child care from ages newborn- teens, I also did a little elderly care. With my previous jobs my routine was more like this: Mon-fri, normally weekends off, where I would go home on friday evenings and return and sunday evenings ( no problem working overtime if asked).Did breakfast ,lunch and dinner for the kids, laundry,drive them to school, activities,playdates etc. Played arts and crafts, go bike riding, to the parks and any fun stuffep the house keep and tidy on a daily basis. Normally discuss with the parents what others duties they what and don't what and we go from there.
I provide full care and attention to children read alot to them and play alot with them. I think having conversations with them help kids to understand the world better. Respect and manners are also taught, because its important they have that towrds they parents and even friends and adults around them.
One more important thing is having a open relationship between parents and nannies is very important if its going to work.
