Au Pair's Message to Families
Hi Family,
Greetings from Singapore! First of all, I would like to thank you for dropping by my page! I received my Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona; graduated in 2011. My passion lies in working with children hence that leads me to take up a psychology internship during my college years, serving as a mentor to under-privileged kids. I worked with children mainly with ADHD and some other behavioral problems, and my job was to help these adorable kids work towards overcoming some of their behavioral and social problems.
This will be my first time working as an Au pair, but I believe that my years living in the United States while pursuing my undergraduate degree enables me to adapt and assimilate quickly into your culture.
A little insight into who I am as a person: I love children and would love to make a difference in their lives. I am fond of cooking, and would love to share with the family some Chinese dishes from my hometown, I am an avid traveler and love cultural immersion. I love nature and enjoys visiting the national parks in the US (considering that I'm came a city). I speak perfect English and Chinese, and a little of Spanish.
