Au Pair job description
We are a looking for a fmature, enthusiastic caregiver to provide encouragement, outdoor play and healthy meals for our 4-year-old daughter and 2 of her friends. We are a divorced couple co-parenting out daughter. We will be living in the same neighbourhood. You would be living the home of the mother.
Your responsibilities would be preparing lunch and supper daily, helping with housework and helping with babysitting during some evenings and some weekend evenings. You would also be responsible for picking up our daughter and 2 of her friends from school and bring them back to my home m-f 1145 until 5 pm. The school is close by and both of the children speak Spanish.
The children are very imaginative and love to play together. They play lots of make believe and love to play outdoors and make art projects.
When they are not in school this summer (June-August) the job would be full time from 8-5. They would be expected to go to the pools, go on play dates at the park and play outside as much as possible.
We are looking for someone who is firm but loving and who has a great respect for the arts and outdoor play.We are also looking for someone to help teach our daughter Spanish and to share her culture with our daughter. A great cook is an added bonus.
