Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello family!! My name is Tatiane , I’m 23 years old. I live with my mother, Nilza (55 years old) and my dog Dario. I have 2 sisters (Sandra 29 years old), Leni (21 years old) and 1 brother Fabio (27 years old). I live in São Paulo, it is a big city in São Paulo state, Brazil. São Paulo is considered a metropolis, with a lot of stores, important companies, and parks. I really like to live here because it is near big cities and it’s where most part of my family and all my friends live. My family supports my trip to U.S.A and all my decisions and helps me when I have doubts. This decision to do exchange is one of the most important in my life. Because I’ll live in another country, with another language and culture, but it will help me with my personal and professional growth. I want returned this trust. I appreciate the healthy relationship with family and friends. I have a big family with a lot of young cousins and when we are together we have fun playing, dancing, singing, creating stories. I learned to be more patient, responsible and careful with children, when, in 2001, my nephew Eric (11 years old) was born, he was responsible for up to 6 years (school-age Brazilian), after this period helped in raising my other nephews Vitoria (6 years), Arthur (3 years), Ana Julia (2 years) and Nicollas (8 months). It was an amazing experience, seeing the growth and learning of children. In 2009, I was a voluntary in a social nucleus Adventist. I helped the teacher in the class and educational activities, videos class, informatics, guidelines and games. Besides that, every Wednesday the institution went with the children to SESI which is also a social Institution but it is very big and conceptualized here in Brazil. SESI has a lot of units and all of them has pools, sports courts, football field, auditoriums, dancing class, sewing class, swimming, and many other activities, and SESI provides some of these activities to nucleus. I participate in activities at the Institute São Judas, giving grammarlessons, arts and chess for children ages 8 to 13 years. Completes College in Human Resources Administration in 2009, a course that I really like, I graduate in Marketing and Communication, I love studying, I really want to improve my English in the period as an au pair I’m a very dedicated person, I like challenges and overcome my limits. I also like to spend my time with my family, my dog, my friends. I love listening to music, watching series and movies, surfing the internet, talking, going out and having fun. I’m a very flexible person, with an easy adaptation; I’m communicative, outgoing and calm. I have decided to be an Au Pair because it will be an incredible experience for me. I’ll live with kids, with an American family, I’ll improve my English skills. I’ll do my best with this opportunity. I hope to see you soon!!
