Au Pair's Message to Families
Greetings potential family! Currently I am in my final year of school studying Maths, Economics and French at A level and want to take a gap year with the intention of doing something beneficial and worthwhile, before going to university to study for a BA in Economics and French. I love languages, and speak French at a conversational level, also I have taken Spanish at school. I am diligent, hard working and always try to do tasks to the best of my ability. I have also been told that I am patient, kind and most of all full of energy! Which gives me a real advantage when looking after children. I love children, being the eldest cousin of a large catholic family I have long had to look after young children; cooking, cleaning and playing with them. What I particularly enjoy is watching children grow and change, and having the ability to help shape a childs' future. My exact location for my placement is not that important, the childcare aspect of au pairing is far more important to me. However, I would prefer to go somewhere far away from England as I love new experiences, with my two desired locations being either Bejing or Shanghai, because I find the language and culture of China fascinating, complex and impressive.
