Au Pair's Message to Families
Hi!
It is a pleasure to introduce myself, my name is Rebecca (or Bec, Bex, Becca- for the younger kids). I've never been an au pair before, partly because I'm from Australia and it's really not that common for us, but now that I'm living in the Northern Hemisphere I've started to think about what an amazing opportunity it could be! I have done a student exchange program so I've had the experience of fitting into another family and found it to be so eye opening.
For the past few years I've been studying and working in a variety of areas, but haven't been able to limit myself to one interest. I'm 21 and at a stage in my life where all I want to do is discover as many new things as I can, which is why I made the decision to move to the other side of the world. I have no set plan for where exactly I will go or what I will do, but I love working and having some sense of routine so I don't want to be on a continual holiday.
I've filled in my interview so there's a whole lot of information about me in that section, but if there's anything in particular you'd like to know please send me a message.
As my profile says, I can join you any time from August onwards. If you have a shorter term requirement in the UK I would be available from March until June.
