Au Pair job description

Dear Aupair,

We are looking for a nice, happy, energetic girl who can help us take care of our two daughters and helping with some household work for 4,5 days a week.

For the kids: This includes getting them ready for school (dressed, breakfast etc) but also picking them up from school when I am at work or maybe bringing them to the ballet class etc. Once at home have lunch with them and maybe play / go out to the park etc. And help with dinner & bath. The eldest goes to school 5 days a week and the youngest goes 3 mornings. After the summer she will also start at the 'big'school. And sometimes to babysit at night when we are out.

For the house: I also really need someone who can help with the housework - when the kids are in school. This includes ironing and keeping the house tidy etc. (vaccuum cleaning, and making the beds etc) When I am home I also help! If you can cook that would be really great, as I am a bad cook, but love nice food :-) But this is not a requirement perse.

As benefits: we offer a nice sunny room, with tv, internet etc. Your own bathroom and a bike. Of course we pay pocket money. And weekends free. (maybe once in a while we would need you for babysitting)

Family's Message to Au Pair

Dear Aupair,

We are a warm & happy family with 2 lovely daughters of 3 and 5 years old. The eldest is called Philippine (Pippi) and the youngest is Liliane (lili) Pippi goes to school for 5 days a week, and is now learning to read a little bit. She loves to play with her barbies and loves to dress up as a princess. She also love to dance and do arts & crafts. She is a real responsible girl and a good listener (most of the time :-)) :Lili is more outgoing than her big sister. She also love to dance and also goes to ballet class. She likes to make jokes and sing songs. They can really play very good together and are usually very sweet together!

I am Isabella and I work 4 days a week at a bank. I love to go to the movies and I love to have people over for dinner, eventhough I am not such a very good cook! We live near a big park, where I like to go for a run to keep fit. Jeroen works in marketing and is also setting up his own company. He also likes to go for a run in the park and love football. We are both dedicated to our kids and try to do fun things together in the weekends etc. But we also like to go out together once in a while, and then we hope to have a nice au pair who can babysit!

We live in Amstelveen which is near Amsterdam (15 minutes by bike to the centre of Amsterdam) it is a neighbourhood with many kids!
