Au Pair's Message to Families

Hi!

I'm a French girl. I'm 22. My Name is Hélène and I come from Rennes in France.

I want to find a family for 1 or 3 months. I’ll be available from February 27st 2012 to Mai 15th 2012. I can't stay more because I found a job in France for the summer but I have to make a test before, and this test is planned in May. I will work in the maternity department of a private hospital. I've already kept children and I like it. I have never been in an au-pair family, but my family is very important for me.

We have, as much as possible, breakfast and lunch together. We spend a lot of time together the weekends... My parents work a lot, so I often had to keep my brothers. I have two younger brothers of 12 and 18. I was for a long time their nurse in evenings and weekends to help my mother and my father. Now, they find themselves too big to have a nurse. I would make as much effort as possible to fit in your familly and to help you every day. I can help for cooking, doing the housework, ironing... I love cooking, and especially desserts. I'm greedy.

I like dogs and cats. I have at home 2 cats and a dog. I love horseriding, and sports like handball and basketball. I ride since 7 years, and I have been playing handball for 6 years and basketball for 3 years. I also read quite often.

I'm smiling, open-minded, independent and easy to live. I don't smoke. I have my driving license, so if it is necessary, I can drive in England.

I've passed my A-level two years ago, and after I've passed a Higher National Diploma in renewables energy in two years. I successed it. This year, I change my formation. I don't want to lose one year, so I had to work in France since 4 months, and now I hope to come in UK to improve my English. That would be positive for me to go back to school next year. Au pair is a perfect solution to improve my English expression. Be in a family would help me to improve my English, but establish good relations with your familly as well. You could share your knowlegde with me and mine with you also. I want to take advantage of being in England to visit too. I'm curious and I like visiting and discovering new habits.

I am in Swansea for the moment, one hour of Cardiff, for 3 weeks and after I hope to find a family!
