Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello, my name is Barbara and I live with my parents Tania and Marcos in Macae, Rio de Janeiro coast. Macae is a great city, Which has beautiful natural places, and the city is number one in oil, Which brings you here, many Americans to work, and tourists in the summer. I finished my high school,and today, I work in the restaurant of my mom, helping her in the administrative part. In my free timeI like playing sports, like swimming, I love roller skating Also, I think it's so much fun! I love kids and I get on very well with then, since I was younger I took care of my cousins ??or the neighbor's kids used to come to my place to just watching movies, listen to music or play with me. When I grow up I start to take care to children while others go Their parents work. From 2009 until 2010 I took care of a girl called Evelin. Evelin who has 3 years old, I going to her home Every day morning and I was Responsible towake her up, feed her, give her a bath, give her and take her lunch to school. On Weekends HAD classes she did not so I was with her ??from 7 am Until 5 pm In 2010 I started taking care of a boy named Kelvin, who has 1 year. I was Responsible for feeding, bathing, laundry, Kelvin and take all afternoon to get some sun. In 2011 I was assistant in my church for the children, every week I used to teach many different students, Which different ages,from little kids, teenagers. In my future career I want to discover That I really love and go to college.

As Au Pair I hope that I have an AMAZING year, I want take care of kids, play, teach and help in their development. Moreover I want study, make friends and I really hope that my dreams come true when I meeting places which I used to see many times in my favorite movies, like Hollywood sign, Disney World and New York City!!!
