Au Pair or Nanny job description

Personal Assistant

Daily basic meal prep and shopping/pick up of organic, vegetarian meals and groceries. Recipes will be provided, along with shopping lists. 3 meals per day to be prepared unless otherwise stated (ie. will not be eating at home that day).

Regular meal prep for my hosts. The wife may enjoy a break and have someone else prep the food for the week.

Daily cleanup after meal prep at breakfast and dinner.

Possibility of driving me to appointments or other places, as I may not choose to have a car.

Family's Message to Au Pair or Nanny

Greetings,

I am a 38 year old Canadian woman will be visiting the island from February 10th until Feb 19th. I am no stranger to the Cayman Islands. I have been visiting the island for almost 10 years now, with friends who still live on island and friends who have since moved back home to Canada. For this stay, I will be staying at my friends' home.

My dietary needs have changed and now I have special dietary needs (vegetarian and vegan) and as such will be doing some basic meal prep AND/OR may be asking my assistant to do some of the basic prep and the cleanup in the mornings and especially in the evenings. Do not worry, I know what meals (mostly salads) will be made and will have the recipes with me, I will coach you. It is really simple. You will be involved in organic foods shopping and pickup of meals, drinks, juices at the local vegetarian juice bar daily during my stay. I am looking for assistance as I do not want to be a burden, nor add additional work to my hosts because of my presence. Please when is the best time to speak with you and I will gladly you from my home here in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.

My friends/hosts are a couple who have a young child. The wife will be busy tending to the child. If it makes sense to ask for extra assistance for other meal prep, cleaning or babysitting in the home that week, I'd like to know that it is possible.
