Housekeeper and Cooking Duties

Weekly cleaning every thurday including

All bedding, towels and clothing to be laundered, ironed if needed and put away. All bathrooms cleaned and disinfected. Floors washed and carpets vacuumed Patio furniture cleaned and dusted, pool towels laundered and barbecue cleaned. Upstairs patio furniture and tile cleaned and front balcony floor washed. Detailed kitchen cleaning All rooms dusted and inside windows cleaned, blinds dusted, sofas wiped.

Sunday to Saturday duties

All meals are made from non processed food and usually from scatch, so cooking skills should be moderately experienced. I will train to our likes and dislikes. We never use microwaves or eat junk food. Breakfast every morning consisting of hot grains and vegetables. Occasional grocery shopping but most likely together with myself. Lunch and Dinner made upon request usually 5 - 6 days a week. Kitchen clean up, bathrooms and other used rooms tided up when used. Patio towels and tables cleaned when used. Light towel or baby laundry thur the week or more when guests are over. 2 to 3 days a week will be light with not much at all to do, some days may only have breakfast light baby sitting in morning and nothing else. Some weeks may be heavy if guests are over or helping me with heavy food preparation.

Nanny duties

For the first six months after baby arrives in march will be very light. Duties will be more of clean up of nursery then anything. Light babysitting from Monday to Friday for 2 - 3 during the day if errands need to be done and occasional evenings. Occasional Saturday and Sundays will be required but prior notice will be given. After six months we will be out of the country where you will have to be able to travel. Duties will be the same for housekeeping and cooking at our house in Germany. Nanny duties will be extended if I have to attend a trade show or any other work related job such as babysitting, either in the USA or abroad.

There may be additional kids to babysit every once in awhile if guests or family is staying over.

Qualified Candidates

Family's Message to Au Pair or Nanny

We are looking for someone that would like to be part of our family and treat us and our baby as though we were family. We are flexible and there may be days that there is not much to do at all but sit by the pool. We are not apposed to even having a husband and wife team apply if all their all children are grown up and on their own or old enough to look after themselves. We do have a company that will supply an outside job. We don't expect you to work everyday and days you want off to go somewhere we have no problem working with you. You have to be understanding and flexiable because our schedule can be very erratic and can change very quickly. You will be traveling a lot on business and vacations where job expectations will change due to circumstance. We are looking for someone that would like to be part of our family more than just looking for a job. You will be with my Husband and I and our new born a great deal of time. My husband works very long hours and I will only work part time starting in the fall and plan to have one more child next year but I do need the flexiability to leave when needed to tend to our business. We are looking to have someone long term that doesn't mind traveling and living in other countries for extended periods of time. We are usually in Europe as much as we are in California.
