Au Pair or Nanny job description

Primary responsibilty is supervision of two children which includes driving to school and aftershool activities, evening meal preperation and help with homework. Driving is a critical role for this job so only persons with a drivers license can be considered. Supervision of homework is also important so a good command of the English language and at least a high school education is required. I occasionally must travel for short periods of time and occasionally am late getting home, so the ideal person will be flexible and not mind fixing dinner and helping with grocery shopping, paying bills or other administrative tasks. She would also be expected to remain at home a few nights per week as my job often requires evening work. All members of the family are expected to contribute to the upkeep of the home. I will be happy to supply a more detailed job description to interested persons.

Family's Message to Au Pair or Nanny

We are an active family of single dad, 13 year old girl, 11 year old boy and two dogs. We live in George Town, Grand Cayman near to schools and downtown but we are all in the ocean every chance we get! We are seeking a loving caring person who is responsible and fun-loving but can balance the evening activities with supervision of homework. We are a small but close family and seek someone who will enjoy the time as part of our family. Whilst we are not particularly religous, the candidate must be wiling to accept our family's Christian values and the somewhat conservative lifestyle that exists in the Cayman Islands. Candidate's maturity (not necessarily age) will be important.
