Au Pair job description

We, Mom (Opera singer) and Dad (Concert pianist) are seeking a fun-loving, caring German nanny who can speak native German with our two lovely children (girl, 3 and boy, 5). We are raising our children in a lovely small town near Stuttgart. We would like our nanny to be a native German speaker. We are happy to speak English with the nanny if she would like to improve her English language.We are looking for a dedicated, intelligent, organised, responsible and fun-loving AuPair who can bring some order into our very busy household. We need someone who is willing to be flexible, meaning to have some busy weeks and some sleepy weeks. We need someone who is willing to work at all hours of the day and anyday of the week. Not that that means you are working all the time. Workload should be anywhere from 20-40 hours. Cooking and some light house work will be required but again... just depends what is going on in the house! Basically, we are travelling a lot and sometimes we have lots to do around the time of our concerts and other times things will be a bit slow. You will be provided with your own bedroom and a shared bathroom with the children. Please note that this job requires the willingness to travel. For instance candidate must be willing to come with us to Stockholm this summer for a minimum of one month possibly two months. There will be other situations where the candidate will travel...of course all trip expenses will be paid for.

Hello dear AuPair! Welcome to our crazy life! I am an American opera singer and my husband is a British concert pianist living in Germany raising bi-lingual children. We have two kids, a girl who is three and a boy who is 5.5. They are sweet and loving children. We are a very loving family who really values our family life but we have such chaotic schedules that we need an extra hand! Could you be our magical Mary Poppins? We live in a gorgeous picturesque town outside of Stuttgart, Germany. There is public transport to get to Stuttgart so there are always lots of nice things to do nearby when our quiet town becomes too quiet!
