Au Pair's Message to Families
Hey families out there! I'm Hanna and I'm 21 years old. I'm currently studying translating and interpreting. My major is english. I'm going to conclude my studies in june 2012 and I wish to spent at least a year in the United States. I'm outgoing and I love to work with children. I was a girl guide for 13 years and I was responsible for a group of children aged 6 to 8 for 5 years. In my holidays I work as a ski instructor, teaching children how to use these slippery things underneath their feet. Hence I know how to deal with children in all situations. My english is fluent in speaking and writing and I have basic skills in spanish and dutch. I'm very interested in music, literature and theatre. I spent my freetime on concerts and hiking. I'm from the Allgäu, a Bavarian alpine region and therefore I love to be outdoors. I've started to ride longboard a few months ago. Currently I live in Nuremberg one of Bavaria's biggest cities because my university is there. My apperance may not suit every family: I've got a large chest tattoo and a tiny one on my right foot, a piercing in my lip, cheek and nose. However I don't think that this would affect my caregiving qualities So if you liked my message and you are not scared to let a lively fun tattoed girl take care of your kids I would be very happy!
