Au Pair's Message to Families

I'm a Bolivian Au Pair Living in Massachusetts, I'm 24 years old. I've arrived to the country 8 months ago . I have a Valid Visa and a social Security Card. I'm a former Au Pair , So far i love the experience. allows me to really enjoy the culture, caring for children, studying and exploring, dancing, loving! I Share a little of my experience

-Back in my country i volunteered in an orphanage for almost a year ( taking care of babies first, it was amazing and lasted more time with them than with the other children that were from 3 to 10 years old), had classes at the university (sociology) and still i was able to keep with my job in Tourism- i love traveling and getting to know new places and people ( that's one of the reasons i decided to be an au pair)

I worked in New Hampshire at first , taking care of two toddlers (4) and (2). a boy and a girI ( Greyson and Presley) love them and enjoyed their company, taking care of them was a great experience to me. They were very musical and art related appealed so we sung a lot, dance a lot, enjoy the nature, play in the playground. Love a lot. Needed to re-match cause i was feeling isolated there , living in the middle of the woods, not being able to use the car was a problem although the family was nice and really enjoyed the time there

I'm now taking care of 2 girls. ages 10 and 5 (Meghan and Colleen) living with a single mom in Marblehead where public transportation is available; it has been hard since she is a nurse and works almost all day, needed to work too much and be in charge of the household while their mom was working. my reasons for quitting the family are not personal but mostly cause i think i need to some time to study too, i wanted to take classes for the evenings or afternoons , it is just not working since my schedule varies a lot. I can be very flexible with schedules but i need sometime to study which is a rally big deal for me

I'm a very easy going person, open minded, free to live and enjoy life, i do like to laugh a lot, smile a lot, read a lot, dance a lot, sing a lot, love a lot. i believe in God, Honesty , and Communication for any type of relationship to work

i like creativity, i enjoy paining , drawing, puzzles, colors!! i love colors, my kids were learning colors in Spanish, they actually speak a little Spanish and of course i;m always open to teach them since i was also teaching basic English for a While in Bolivia and always loved it!

My usual duties were : prepare breakfast, cook lunch , clean them up, clean after them, keep their rooms clean, do their laundry, organize play dates, teach them Spanish and some more.
