Nanny's Message to Families

Dear family. I am am currently living in Partille near Gothenburg and am working as a Housekeeper/ Nanny for 20 hours per week in the afternoons. As I am not needed very much in the family I am working now I am looking for a new challenge, additional or full. I am a 47 year old mum of 2 grown boys and have been looking after other peoples children since I was 12. I lived in Saudi Arabia and Jemen, 5 years in Wales , 4 years in Spain/Mallorca and since january 2011 in Sweden. I would love to find a nice family for which I can be part of the family and help with every days chores regarding the children and household. I have been to a babies first aid course and being a trained family doctors nurse have some experience in this direction anyway. I am fluent German and English speaking, I speak some Spanish and am learning Swedish. I like being outdoors, I like baking and cooking, and love ironing. I am quite good at crafts, can knit, crochet and sew. My last job in Mallorca was looking after a big villa as a part time job and in the afternoons and evenings work as a nanny for 2 families, one little boy born february 2010 and a little girl born october 2009. Before this I worked as a live in nanny and housekeeper in a family with 2 children(then 2 and 11). Sadly they couldn't afford me any longer when the financial crisis hit. My job in the villa included the household with help at preparing meals, shopping errands, laundry, managing the other emplyees like gardeners and handy men, managing renovation work on the estate, airport runs and lots more. My hobbies/ interests are photography, hiking, being in nature and my PC, I love music and I like reading. I don't smoke and I don't drink other than the odd glass of wine or beer on occasions. I consider myself reliable and responsible and I have never met a child that didn't like me. I adjust easily to new surroundings and learn fast.

I am not looking for short term employment, I would like to stay a while.
