Nanny job description

**This job is for the summer vacation break only, July.1 to Aug.31.

We are seeking a mature, energetic and creative individual to care for our three children (ages 8, 6 & 4). Some college level education is prefered, but not a necessity. Nanny candidates must have a valid Drivers License and a few years driving experience, plus hold a valid passport and a USA multiple entry tourist visa (if needed).

The Cayman Islands Government requires a work permit application approval for all foreign workers. Therefore, one of the items required of our nanny candidates is a Police Clearance certificate (valid within the past six months).

Family's Message to Nanny

**This job is for the summer vacation break only (July.1. to Aug.31 only)

Our children have very friendly personalites and love the outdoors. They are in school during the school term. However, we require someone who will provide a balance between fun and educational activities, as well as take the kids to their playdates/ sports activities. We would like a nanny to provide a caring, active, fun and educational experience for our children.

Our nanny must be detail oriented and self motivated, as well as hold a valid drivers license to facilitate outings to the beach or park, or playdates as necessary. Therefore, a nanny who swims is required. Our nanny will primarily take care of our children and any work associated with them (baths, meals, washing up their dirty dishes/cups, play time, educational/story time, laundry and kids clothes ironing, immediate and thorough clean-up of kids spills, putting away of toys). Light housework is needed, such as clean-up of lunch/dinner pots & packing away leftovers,(dishwasher is used for all other items); ensuring that the kids rooms/play areas/bathrooms are clean and tidy. We have a cleaner come in to do the heavy duty cleaning once a week.

The Cayman Islands are a beautiful and safe place to live and work. It offers many sun/sea/sand activities and has a multi-cultural mix of residents. We know that you will truly enjoy living and working here.
